Mindfulness Workshop

A three hour workshop

This introductory one-day workshop includes an overview of what mindfulness is, an explanation of the science and evidence base, plus guided meditations and an opportunity to find out why it can help you to master your thoughts and feelings, rather than be controlled by them.  

You will also be given advice about how to continue with the practice after the day.

What the day will include

  • An explanation of mindfulness
  • Information on the evidence base, the science, research and neuroplasticity
  • Everything you need to know about the positive implications for your health and sense of wellbeing
  • Details of how mindfulness can help in terms of managing challenges, developing resilience and working with others
  • Key meditation practices
  • Practical sessions, including guided meditations and group inquiry into the experience of mindfulness

About the facilitator

Veronica is psychotherapist, teacher, clinical and counselling supervisor and trainer and has more than 20 years experience of practicing and teaching meditation and mindfulness.   BACP. HCPC. Cert.Ed. LLLS
